The Sudbury Delphi Ballroom operates in the Delphi Centre which used to be Delphi Diesel Systems Social Club but is now run by Sudbury Town Council. The main ballroom is used for all dance instruction and social dancing.   The ballroom is one of the best within 30 miles. There is a Maple sprung dance floor, measuring about 10 metres by 20 metres, with seating in the ballroom for 120 persons. A lounge area attached to the ballroom provides seating for a further 60 and there is a fully licensed bar open at every event.  No alcohol or soft drinks to be brought on to the premises.  On-site parking is also available, with sufficient to cover any events, both in front and to the side of the main building. A dance tuition club is run as an independent organisation with a committee elected by the members, membership is open to the general public.

FEES:  25 per person, for three months for membership of the dance club  This covers one hour of  tuition a week plus the opportunity to utilise the ballroom for an hour every Monday evening, from 8pm to 9pm for practice. It also entitles you to reduced entry to the monthly public dances arranged on the first Saturday of every month. 




The Saturday dance at the Delphi Sports and Social Club commences at 8.00pm until 11.15pm. 

The dancing  will be 50/50 ballroom/latin and popular sequence dances.  Fully licensed bar available throughout the evening, no alcohol or soft drinks to be brought into the building, just bring your own food.  Ample car parking to the front and the side of the building.

Don't forget there will be on Saturday 11th February a special Strictly Valentine dance to Roger Chinery and his Ballroom Dance Band.
